Nissan Leads All Automakers in Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Last month, Nissan proudly announced that the automaker was the top-honored brand at the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA) for the second consecutive year. In taking home a literal handful of VSA category awards, Nissan once again proved that the company is making the vehicles that customers desire and admire.

The VSAs measure new-car satisfaction in the automotive industry. By conducting surveys where owners rate 40 vehicle attributes that range from driving performance to interior quality. Consumers spell out the priorities they used when purchasing their new car, as well as their overall satisfaction with their vehicle after the purchase. For this year's VSAs, more than 58,000 new car owners were polled.

The five Nissan models to take top honors in their segments are:

  • TITAN, a second-time winner in the Light Duty Pickup segment
  • LEAF, a first-time winner in the Mainstream EV Car segment
  • Murano, a fourth straight win in the Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV segment
  • Maxima, earning a third Mid-Size Car segment title
  • The iconic 370Z, taking its first-ever Sports Car title

In a press release, Brandon White, the director and chief marketing manager of Nissan North America, Inc., commented, "The AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards provide a unique picture of how both brands and individual models are doing in terms of satisfying customers every day. It's great to see Nissan vehicles come out on top in a wide range of categories – sedans, crossovers, full-size trucks, electric vehicles and sports cars."
